It is sad to think that somebody somewhere is yet to find this song. Maybe they are living under a rock or their lives aren’t just as interesting. Anyway, my heart goes out to everyone who relates with the lyrics to this song. It just means you want the impossible and something definitely not meant for you. I know chasing, hoping, wishing and building castles in the air may be thrilling but when you get back to reality it is the most exhausting and time-consuming experience.
Some people are lucky to meet their soulmates at the first shot and be with them for the rest of their lives. However, for most people that isn’t closer to the truth and for that we thank heavens for such people that wrote the lyrics to this song. They know us too well and understand how painful the experience could be and help us to understand that it’s time we let ourselves free and move on to find the ones for us.
Sometimes, we find it difficult to move on from people that we have invested ourselves. It is even more difficult if all we can see is the good in them and the times, they stood out for us. We feel as though we are at war with love and somehow carry our wounds to our next relationships. It is sad that some people cannot put out for us the way we are willing to put out for them. Most of the time it is not their fault and the wars we are fighting are pointless. Some are also holding on to us giving us false hope and is why we find that we are fighting the wars that we shouldn’t be involved in. we are afraid to let go because we are waiting with hope that a time never comes when we are told that it is over. The worst thing about it is that we never see it coming and is why our hearts are broken when it happens.
The most painful scars are those that cannot be seen, one of the most common being a heartbreak. This song hits different when you are actually experiencing it. At the end of the day, the battle scars are just a proof of the battles that we have won and none is as relieving as moving on. My point is, never carry a wound from one failed relationship to another. In my opinion love is 99% trust and if you feel that you cannot do it, it is better that you do not let anyone else struggle with what you have been through. At least save them the trouble. Help them not wish that they hadn’t fallen in love because love is a beautiful thing, we ourselves just find ways to taint it.

    Periodt! 🙌🔥

Sometimes it is not the song that makes you emotional, it is the people and things that came to mind when you were listening to the song.

Have you ever heard a song and wondered how much the songwriter knows about you? Music speaks to us through lyrics (well, including Carlos Santana’s guitar)...
